First Time follows the story of teenagers Cyndi (Barbie Forteza) and Lukas (Joshua Dionisio) who met one summer at the beach. Their newfound friendship is immediately put to the test after Lukas’s mother dies from a mysterious accident, which prompts his father to relocate overseas.

And just like that, Cyndi and Lukas unwilling gave each other their goodbyes.

Two years later, Lukas returns to the Philippines and enrolls in the same school as Cyndi. They try to rekindle their friendship, only for Cyndi to find out that the Lukas from that memorable summer is no longer there. Lukas, once a cheerful and fun-loving boy, has grown to become so quiet, and detached from everyone, including Cyndi.

Still, with the help of Cyndi and her best friend Baste (Jake Vargas), Lukas eventually comes to terms with the tragedies in his life. All three of them become inseparable, even Lukas and Baste, who have little in common besides sharing a love for Cyndi. They spend most of their time at Baste’s house, whose middle-class family finds happiness in music.

But their friendship will face another challenge when a deep and dark secret buried beneath the past unfolds; one that will question their real identities. Could they possibly have something more in common than they think? How will this bitter conflict affect their homes, their lives, and their young hearts?

It airs weeknights on GMA-7′s  right before 24 Oras.
